How to Help

The Amheida project must raise part of its budget each year from contributions and grants. While we have some institutional support and write grants for special projects, we depend in no small part on the enlightened generosity of private supporters to do our work in the Dakhla Oasis.

All donations are tax deductible and donors will receive an official receipt from NYU via email along with a letter from ISAW acknowledging the gift. Any and all questions about support and gifting, including matching gifts, can be directed to Dr. David M. Ratzan () and Iris Fernandez (imf225@nyu.edu), ISAW’s Development and Public Engagement Manager (and a proud Amheida alumna!).

On behalf of the entire team, thank you!

Venmo/Paypal

There is a dedicated link for electronic donations: https://www.givecampus.com/campaigns/29608/donations/new. Please use this link and select “Amheida Project in Egypt” from the drop-down menu. To help expedite the processing of your gift, it would be helpful to our team if you sent an email to Dr. David M. Ratzan () and/or Iris Fernandez (imf225@nyu.edu) to let us know that you made the gift.
